MESA COUNTY, Colo.-Mesa County authorities are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect believed to be behind two local robberies.

On Oct. 25 at around 11:30 a.m., Twice Upon a Time Bookshop located at 2885 North Ave. was robbed.

On Nov. 3 around 2:35 p.m., Consign Design located at 234 Main St. was also robbed.

Law enforcement has reason to believe the two robberies were committed by the same individual.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s or 50s. He is between 6' and 6'3" tall and weighs between 180 and 220 pounds.

The individual has short brown hair and a round face, and was clean-shaven with rosy cheeks.

Witnesses say the suspect was wearing a green hooded Carhartt sweatshirt at the time of the first robbery. He is also possibly associated with a red pickup truck.

Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 241-STOP (7867).

Anonymous information leading to an arrest can bring up to a $1,000 cash reward.
