Wanted Sex Offender

MESA COUNTY, Colo.- A Mesa County sex offender is now wanted on new sexual assault charges.

Jakeob Robert Simmons is wanted on a no bond felony warrant.

Simmons is accused of sexual crimes and deputies want him off the street.

Simmons is 28 years old, white male, 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

He may be driving a 2004 Jeep Cherokee that is maroon in color and may look purple with Colorado plate 044-XZU.

Anyone with information regarding Jakeob Simmons whereabouts is asked to call the non-emergency dispatch number at (970) 242-6707.
