PHOENIX - On Friday, a wanted murder supect was arrested in Leadville by the U.S. Marshals Service.
In Nov. of 2012, in San Tan Valley, Ariz., the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call relating to an individual being threatened with a handgun. The reporting person, Nicole Frauton, claimed her mother, Linda Perelli-Brown, was being threatened by one of Frauton’s male acquaintances at the family’s home.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the residence and found Perelli-Brown shot multiple times. Corey Deandre Allen, 28, was identified by authorities as the suspect and an arrest warrant was issued charging him with first-degree murder and kidnapping.
The U.S. Marshals-led Arizona WANTED Violent Offender Task Force immediately began investigating Allen’s whereabouts.
Information indicated Allen was possibly hiding out at a residence in Leadville. Allen was located and arrested without further incident.
Allen was booked into the Lake County jail, where he awaits extradition to Arizona.
