Wanted: Illegal Horse Kill Suspect

MESA COUNTY - The Mesa County Sheriff's Office needs your help in locating the person or persons responsible for the illegal shooting of a horse.

The tan Quarter horse stallion was shot and killed at 5910 Elk Ranch Rd. Glade Park sometime between Dec. 27 and Dec. 28.

It appears the horse was shot using a small caliber firearm at close distance.

The horse was valued at $8,000.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 242-6707. Information leading to an arrest can bring up to $1,000.

Find the killer and give this person the same chance that was given to the horse!
