PALISADE, Colo. - Many members of the Grand Valley gathered to remember Tyler and William Jensen, the two young boys who died after being left in a car on the Grand Mesa.

A vigil was held at Riverbend Park, a spot where family members say the two boys loved to visit.

Harold Jensen has fond memories of taking his grandsons there.

"We'd come down here and they'd wear me out on the swing," he said.

Before the two boys untimely death, they made a lasting impact on their friends and neighbors.

"[They were] sweet, very gentle, playful loving little children," said Terri Folnsbee, a family friend.

"I just kinda got attached and they were good kids," said Matteo Williams.

Now, in the same place the two boys loved to play, family and community members fill to remember their lives.

"We're praying for them constantly that they'll make it through this tough time, I can't even imagine," said Folnsbee.

Those who knew the Tyler and William well say the comfort from the thought of the boys being in a better place, helps them cope.

"At least the boys are at peace with their father where they should be, instead of here suffering trying to survive from a mistake their mother made," said Kimberly Owens, a neighbor of the two boys.

With candles in hand and keeping their own children close, a community mourns the death of William and Tyler Jensen, whose lives were cut short.

"I love them, I'll think about them everyday there's no doubt about it, we all will, and they're just part of my heart and soul now," said Jensen.

A memorial fund has been set up for the two boys through US Bank called the "Tyler and William Memorial Fund."

Thursday the grandparents leaned that they must pay $5,000 to stop the horrible mother from creamating the boys' bodies. The grandparents are fighting it in court because they want the boys buried next to their father, were they should be. I hope the "mother" is arrested soon, this is getting out of hand. She shouldn't have anything to do with those boys.
