Victims Wounded in Aurora Shooting File Lawsuits

by KREX News Room
by Christina Marrazza

DENVER- Three of the people wounded in July's mass shooting at an Aurora movie theater have filed lawsuits against Cinemark.

They claim the exit door used by the gunman to enter the building should have had an alarm.

The lawsuits were filed the same day a judge ruled to unseal most of the court documents in the murder case against the suspect, James Holmes.

A total of 58 people were wounded in the shooting, and 12 people died.
