GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Some local Verizon Wireless customers who have a 4G phone will get faster Internet service due to the new 4G LTE network that launches Thursday, Nov. 15.

Officials say Verizon Wireless customers across the Grand Junction area will experience the speed and capabilities offered by the 4G network.

Coverage will extend throughout the metro area, including Colorado Mesa University.

Verizon Wireless officials say the Internet will be about 10 times faster, and videos will play much more smoothly.
