MESA COUNTY, Colo.- Ute Water Conservancy District's Board of Directors decide to postpone the company's tap fee increase.

A fee increase on all residential, commercial and agricultural taps were set to go into effect January 1. The new date is Feb. 1.

According to a press release, Ute Water officials decided to wait an extra month to give contractors and the general public a chance to get the necessary paperwork filed with appropriate agencies.

This is out of control! These people live in a multi million dollar facility nicer than most homes in GJ yet they want to raise our water tax. Its not about water any more. These people want to live in the lap of luxury while the rest of us struggle with the recession. Who can we complain to?
