United Way Urges You to Shop Downtown

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- If you're out and about this weekend, make sure to swing through downtown Grand Junction for some shopping; it will help a good cause.

Downtown stores and restaurants are choosing to make a monetary donation of their choice or give a portion of their weekend's proceeds to United Way of Mesa County, a nonprofit organization that focuses on improving health and human services for Grand Valley residents.

Shoppers will also have a chance to win gifts and prizes in the stores they visit.

Start your shopping day with mimosas and scones at Spring Hill Suites on Saturday and Sunday.
