GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A unique delivery service will deliver food and alcoholic beverages to resident's front door.
"Now you can get Diorio's at your front door," said Robert Johnson, owner of Grub Go-Fers.
Grub Go-Fers delivers food from restaurants such as Diorio's, Las Marias, Bamboo City and several food stands, plus an alcoholic beverage or anything from Pete's House of Spirits to go with it.
"We're actually concentrating on the restaurants that common, everyday people eat at all the time," said Johnson.
By ordering through Grub Go-Fers folks are also helping out a good cause.
"It's $5.50 per delivery, every delivery and a portion of that delivery fee goes to the Wound Warriors project," said Johnson.
Johnson says there's no minimum and he delivers anywhere within Grand Junction to Palisade, Fruita, and Whitewater for the same flat rate fee of $5.50.
"Oh, I'm a vet myself, and I have friends that are veterans and I just believe that the Wounded Warrior's Project is a really good project," said Johnson.
Grub Go-Fers delivers from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.
