Udall Holds Press Conference to Talk About Wind Tax Credits

by KREX News Room
by Associated Press

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Sen. Mark Udall is joining other lawmakers pressing for an extension of the wind production tax credit.

Udall and other members of Congress are holding a news conference Wednesday to push for the tax credit, which is due to expire at the end of this year unless Congress renews it.

A study by a wind energy group found that 37,000 jobs, including hundreds in Colorado, would be lost if the credit expires.

Military veterans who have found careers in the wind energy industry are also lobbying for more federal support.

They're hoping to ramp up pressure Wednesday to extend the $12 billion break.

One and the same. Now, instead of worrying about the debt he created he is out pushing for more worthless expenditures.

Sen Udall? Didn't he vote yes for the unconstitutional travesty known as Obummercare that was snuck through by democrat cowards under cover of darkness and holiday on Christmas Eve 2009?
