UPDATE: Search Efforts Suspended for Missing Skier

PITKIN COUNTY, Colo.- An Aspen skier's whereabouts remain unknown as rescue crews are unsuccessful in finding the missing man Monday.

According to the Pitkin County Sheriff's office, on Saturday night Aspen skier, Jeff Walker was reported missing.

He is known to ski in the Aspen Highlands Bowl daily, however according to his ski pass records the last time he got on a lift was on Thursday.

Monday's search teams included 16 ski patrollers with 8 dogs, 9 Mountain Rescue Aspen members and 72 members of the public.

a helicopter was also used.

So far, officials have not been able to detect any signs of Walker yet.

At this time, search efforts have been suspended by the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office and Mountain Rescue Aspen.
