UPDATE: Conditions Vary for Victims of House Explosion

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - NewsChannel 5 is learning more about the three victims in or near the home at the time of the explosion. All three are students at Colorado Mesa University.

Casey Zabel, 19, lived in the home. He suffered serious injuries. Sources close to Zabel say he received burns on his arms, as well as minor lung damage. He may be looking at surgery.

Kolby Gimmeson, 21, is also a resident of the house. He is currently under observation, receiving burns to his arms and minor lung damage as well. Doctors say he is in stable condition.

Roberto Lopez, 18, did not live at the home, but was just outside of it at the time of the explosion. He was treated for minor burns as well as cuts and was released Tuesday.
