GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The general manager of the Avalon Theatre and Two Rivers Convention Center has resigned, effective immediately.

Officials with the city of Grand Junction say Theron Lafountain resigned Tuesday, citing personal reasons.

A city spokesperson says Debbie Kovalik, director of the Grand Junction Visitor and Convention Bureau, will step in as acting manager for the time being.

According to police documents, Lafountain was arrested and released on a summons early Monday morning for indecent exposure near Fifth Street and Ute Avenue.
