Two Parachute Men Held on Aggravated Kidnapping Charges

With two Parachute men behind bars, the FBI is now asking landowners for help finding the body of the missing Montana School teacher Sherry Arnold.
At a press conference Monday, authorities in North Dakota say the two suspects, Lester Van Waters, Jr., and Michael Spell, of Parachute, Colorado, are being held with no bond out of the state of Montana. Officials also say the two men have either made or are in the process of making courts appearances.
43 year-old high school teacher Sherry Arnold went for a job on the morning of January 7th, 2012, and never returned home. All officials were able to find was a running shoe that was left behind.
Lester Van Waters, Jr., and Michael Spell were arrested Sunday on charges of aggravated kidnapping in connection with the death of Arnold.
NewsChannel 5 spoke to a family member of Spell who was not comfortable having his name published, but he tells us he thinks Spell was threatened by Waters.
"He [Spell] was going up there to work with this guy and came to find out the guy threatened Michael, my brother, that if he didn't do what he said and everything, he would come back and kill his little baby and his wife," he said.
The family member said he couldn't elaborate on exactly what Spell was threatened to do.
Montana and North Dakota authorities released little information about the case because they don't want to jeopardize the investigation.

First of all, spell was just given permission two days prior to go to TX for a family emergeny, reported brother was in a car wreck. Last time I checked, MT is north. Way wrong travel plans. Plus, these guys were selling meat door to door out of there vehicle. Scum and trash killed this wonderful woman who taught thousands of kids and just defeated cancer. Now, they wont even tell them where the body is so the family can have closure.

what in the world did Michael Spell do that would cause Lester Waters to threaten to kill Mr Spell's wife and kids? Almost sounds like a confession!!

If someone threatens to kill my wife and kids.....I go to the authorities. If the weasel doing the threatening is 5'6" and 160 pounds (waters size)....I might just bludgeon him myself. I have a feeling that Mr. Waters threatened Mr. Spell after they had committed the crime. Either way......Mr. Spell needs to tell us where Sherry is so we can bring her home. Maybe that way he can avoid a death sentence.
