GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Two people are detained after shooting a BB gun near the Grand Junction Chick-fil-A restaurant.

After 911 dispatchers received numerous calls, authorities were able to track down the suspected SUV and detain two people on a high risk felony stop.

It all started Thursday afternoon when residents noticed shots coming from an SUV and notified dispatch.

"They followed the vehicle from the area of the Chick-fil-A restaurant to here near the City Market on First Street," said Kate Porras, spokesperson for the Grand Junction Police Department.

Two out of the four in the SUV were detained while officials continue to investigate and determine what charges are appropriate.

The identity of the four have not yet been released.

Officials say no one was hurt.

Gee, a crime was committed, I wonder if they really should have asked for government intervention in the form of police on this one, or just let them do what they want.
