GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A driver lost control of a truck and crashed into the front a local business on Friday.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. at First Street and North Avenue in the outdoor office complex behind Car Tunes.

Grand Junction police officials say the driver plowed into one of the offices after losing the ability to stop.

The Grand Junction Police Department and the Grand Junction Fire Department responded to the scene to test the structural integrity of the building, as one of its main columns was broken.

Also damaged was the entire front side of the building, including a 2-foot wall and large window.

No one was injured in the accident.

Although it is still under investigation, police do not suspect speed or alcohol to be factors in the crash.
