Christmas Train Display Up and "Chugging" For Residents

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. For the 24th year, a Christmas train display is up and "chugging" for residents to come enjoy.

The train show depicts the Rio Grande Railroad as it traveled from Denver to Salt Lake City. It emphasizes the railroads in the mountains of the Western Slope, including Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs and Aspen.

The Grand Valley Railroad Club created the display and has been working on it for the past nine years.

The community is invited to see the show. It is located at the Cross Orchards Historic Site at 3073 F Road. The show will be on display each weekend in December from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

$1 for children under 12
$4 for adults
$7 for a family
