by KREX News Room

Grand Junction - A coal train in De Beque derails from the tracks Saturday night, but the car managed to stay upright and didn't lose its load.

The train, which was traveling to Kentucky, had 104 cars carrying coal as one went off the tracks.

The railroad was closed overnight and reopened early Sunday morning.

Nobody was hurt, and investigators are currently working to see what caused the derailment.
