Trailer and Shed Go Up in Flames

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Smoke could be scene for miles as a trailer and shed went up in flames Thursday morning.

The Lower Valley Fire District responded to the blaze just after 7 a.m. at 1138 Sundial Road, north west of the Grand Junction Regional Airport.

According to fire officials, no one was in the structures at the time of the blaze. The owner of the property left for work earlier that morning.

Grand Junction fire crews were also on scene and they were able to put the fire out by 8 a.m.

Both the 35-foot trailer and the shed full of tools were a total loss. Crews are still on scene mopping up the area.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
