Three Accused of Shooting at Police Officers

NORTHGLENN, Colo. - Three people are in custody after someone fired shots at two Northglenn Police officers during a traffic stop and continued shooting as they fled the police.

Authorities say the officers were unable to return fire but neither of them were hit.

The suspects are identified as Charles Chacon, Desiree Pitts, and Jeremy James. They are facing attempted murder charges and assault on a police officer.
