GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Two people were sent to the hospital Sunday after a three-car accident on the Interstate 70 Business Loop near Central High School.

Grand Junction police officials say a driver of a pickup truck slowed down due to difficulties with the bed of his truck, when another car rear-ended the truck, causing a domino effect.

The driver was cited with following too closely and driving on a suspended license.

The owner of the vehicle was also cited for allowing the driver to drive with a suspended license.

The two people sent to the hospital were transported with minor injuries.

One eastbound lane of I-70B was shut down during accident cleanup.
