GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Western Colorado’s largest home improvement expo will open their doors on Friday, for their 35th time.

The 2013 Home Improvement & Remodeling Expo is a treat for everyone across the western part of the state that is looking to improve their home.

Last year, officials say 4,200 people attended the event, and they are expecting much more this year.

They have been planning the expo for the last 6 months and say their will be over 80 booths that will help you from the roof to the curb.

“It’s one stop shopping,” said Traci Weinbrecht, executive officer of HBA. “We have landscapers, we have builders. If you want a new home, we have real estate agents to sell your home and we have roofing companies. We just have everything for your remodeling needs.”

The event starts on Friday at 10 a.m. and goes until 6 p.m., and is held in the Two Rivers Convention Center at 159 Main Street in downtown Grand Junction.

On Saturday, it will run from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and on Sunday, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

It costs $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children and $15 for families.

NewsChannel 5 is a proud sponsor and will have a booth set up, so if you do come down, swing by and say hello.
