WASHINGTON D.C. - President Barack Obama has been sworn in for a second term, at a ceremony in front of the U.S. Capitol.

A crowd extends across much of the National Mall in Washington to see President Barack Obama's second inauguration ceremony.

Obama was cheered in the streets as his motorcade made its way along Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House and arrived at the Capitol.

The oath of office was administered by Chief Justice John Roberts.

The formal swearing-in follows a private one Sunday, on the day the Constitution calls for the presidential term to begin.

I really don't know why he was sworn in. He has no plans whatsoever to uphold the constitution, and or faithfully uphold the duties of his office. This man was a disaster in be first four years, and god help us all in thus four years.
