GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The 32nd annual Parade of Homes is back in the Grand Valley, showcasing new technologies in this year’s homes.
Fourteen homes will be available for people to check out this year.
Tour officials say all homes have "top of the line" construction and making each home its own unique style.
The homes stretch from Grand Junction into Fruita. They have different homes from starters to mansions.
One of the newest amenities that one home provides is an all hands free and energy saving technology.
"So, this house is fully app based. It's controlled from the phone in your pocket. Whether it's an apple or android and you can control anything, the blinds, the shades, key-less entry automotive locks. You can see who's at the front door on the video camera,” said All Sound Design General Manager Eric Landis.
The parade of homes starts tomorrow and continues until Sunday the 29th. Then it also continues back on October 5th and 6th.
Tickets are $10 each, and will be sold at all area City Market stores.
