The House Receives $20,000 Grant

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A nonprofit that seeks to transition homeless Grand Junction teens to self sufficiency has received a very generous grant.

Karis, Inc. announced Thursday that it received a $20,000 Daniels Fund grant to support The House, A Safe Place for Western Slope Teens.

According to officials from Karis, Inc., the money will keep the organization's message going in helping teens find a safe shelter and refocus their lives.
