GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - A Taste of Heaven Catering held an open house Friday night to benefit the Latimer House and those affected by domestic violence.

The event started around 4:00 p.m. and lasted late into the evening.

There was free food, drinks and live music along with a memorabilia sale where all proceeds went to the Latimer House.

"We know that it's a great cause and there's a big need out there for it and we would just like to support that and see these folks get educated and get the help they need," said Georgia Lujan, owner of Taste of Heaven Catering.

If you couldn't make it to the event you can still participate in the sale or give donations directly to the Latimer House, for more information call (970)243-9400.
