CLIFTON, Colo.- Authorities responded to Interstate 70 just west of the Clifton exit for an accident that had part of the highway shut down.

Around 6:45 Friday morning, both Clifton Fire Department and Colorado State Patrol responded to the accident where a driver was pinned inside his truck.

According to authorities, a 58-year-old male driver was heading east bound on I-70 when he crashed a small water tanker into the embankment.

When authorities arrived on scene, they had to rescue him from the vehicle. He was then rushed to the Saint Mary’s Hospital for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.

The east bound right lane of the highway was shut down momentarily but has since re-opened.

YOU are the twit.. Drug tests are done regularly, this driver is very meticulous about safety, logging, and awareness. Grow up and I hope you don't have to worry about a person in this situation, like losing your "family twit." Accidents happen, as judging people with no facts does not make you a smart nor attractive person. We now have reason to judge your character. TWIT.
