Students and Staff Receive Free Thanksgiving Meal

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The First United Methodist Church serves lunch every week to R5 High School students, but Friday, they served a free Thanksgiving meal for 150 staff members and students.

Around 60 volunteers spend $25 to $30 each to buy all the food for each Friday lunch.

The R5 High School principal made a special schedule so that everyone could walk from the school to the church to attend the free Thanksgiving meal.
