KREX News Room
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Monday Grand Junction City Council members gathered for their fall round-table to discuss both internal and external topics.
Council members and staff discussed short-term as well as long-term goals and how current infrastructure may need to change to accommodate future populations.
"Mostly what we're talking about is like the North Avenue, Horizon Drive and what direction we want to take in our support for those organizations. We do support the North Avenue project, we support Horizon Drive, we support Downtown, it's just where can we find additional funds to help those projects move forward," said the mayor of Grand Junction, Sam Susuras.
Other issues on the docket were fire and emergency service locations, area homelessness and increased economic development.
No decisions or motions were made and any agreed upon changes will be discussed in future meetings.
