Statewide Sweep for Colo. Sex Offenders

DENVER- Agencies throughout Colorado are working together in a statewide sweep for sex offenders.

Operation Shepherd began before dawn on Friday, led by the U.S. Marshals Service. The search includes 36 police agencies.

According to KCNC-TV, officers have arrested 16 sex offenders for issues ranging from failing to register to sex assaults and child Internet exploitation.

They are looking for 95 people with outstanding warrants.
