JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo.- The Colorado State Patrol has turned 10 people over to immigration officials after they stopped an SUV and two people ran from the vehicle.

Two troopers were hurt during the chase, but their injuries were not believed to be serious.

According to KCNC, two suspects ran from the car and into a ravine. One suspect was arrested but police are still looking for the other suspect.

Investigators say a Colorado State Patrol officer noticed a speeding SUV on Interstate 70 west of Denver Wednesday and suspected people were being smuggled.
