GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The two suspects who prompted a SWAT standoff in Grand Junction and are accused of attacking a local woman were in court Wednesday.

Brianna Kuiper and Jeremyah Woolbright, both 23, appeared in court and had charges filed against them.

Kuiper is being charged as an accomplice. Woolbright, however, is facing 11 different charges ranging from attempted aggravated robbery to menacing with a deadly weapon.

The two are believed to have been the cause of a SWAT standoff at a local Grand Junction hotel that forced a local college to be evacuated.

Woolbright and Kuiper first caught the attention of authorities when they allegedly stalked a local woman after they saw her cash her paycheck. Authorities say they believe the pair attacked her in an attempt to rob her.

The two will be back in court in August.
