AURORA, Colo.- Funeral services are being scheduled for some of the victims of Friday's movie theater massacre in Aurora.

As police wrap up their investigations at the crime scenes, some survivors are finding reasons to celebrate.

Katie Medley gave birth to her son, Hugo Jackson Medley, Tuesday morning. They are in the same hospital where Katie's husband, Caleb, is recovering from a gunshot wound to the head.

The Medleys went to go see the new Batman movie last Friday night in Aurora for their last "date" before she would deliver the baby. A half hour into the movie, Caleb was fighting for his life with a gunshot to his eye. On Tuesday, he got to meet his son. Caleb remains in critical but stable condition.

Also in the hospital was Christian Bale, who plays Batman in "The Dark Knight Rises." The actor visited with survivors.

Officials are also learning more about what happened inside in the theater. Early reports suggested the gunman said nothing during the shooting, but at least two people who were there disagree.

Stephanie Davies kept her friend from bleeding to death from a gunshot to the neck. She told reporters that the gunman was yelling things during the shooting.

The suspect, 24-year-old James Holmes, is being held without bail.

State officials say the shooting has prompted a surge in gun sales in Colorado.
