by KREX News Room
by Associated Press

SNOWMASS, Colo.- The Snowmass Village Town Council is considering easing leash laws in town.

The town now requires dogs to be leashed on any public-access land in town, but a measure considered Monday would create some areas where dogs would be allowed off leash in some areas, if owners have them under voice command.

According to the Aspen Times the council will also consider appropriate locations for allowing dogs on trails.
