GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Two businesses recently recognized for their efforts putting people back to work are celebrating the grand reopening of their home offices as a symbol of steady growth during a recovering economy.

Paragon Restoration and Building and Rapid Response celebrated the grand reopening of their offices Tuesday morning by hosting a customer appreciation barbecue.

The company recently invested $75,000 into the remodeling, which added three permanent jobs.

Both business owners say they are better off than they were in 2008 when the recession hit, and they have enjoyed slow but steady growth since.

"Our goal is to be the best service provider in the market and that commitment to providing quality service, good repairs and being sensitive to the needs of our customers while we're in their homes drives our success," said owner of Paragon Restoration and Building.

Rapid Response's owner Larry LaFrenierre had similar words. "We've developed over the last 15 year a clientele of people that continually call us. They've been loyal clients for a long time and they keep us going," said LaFrenierre.
