Skier Lindsey Vonn Injured in Austria

SCHLADMING, Austria - Vail’s skier Lindsey Vonn was rushed to an Austrian hospital after crashing during the world championships.

Vonn crashed Tuesday during the super-G and has apparently injured her right knee.

Vonn' s ski came off immediately, and Vonn slid off course and hit a gate before coming to a standstill. She received medical treatment on the slope before being taken by helicopter to a hospital.
