REDVALE, Colo. Authorities are currently investigating a Western Slope shooting incident.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff's Office, deputies were conducting a traffic stop at about 9 o'clock Thursday morning on Highway 145 outside of Redvale.
At some point during the stop, the deputies reported shots fired and requested a medical response.
Officials say there were no serious injuries to the deputies, but a medical helicopter was sent to the scene and one person was transported to the hospital.
Multiple agencies investigated the scene until around 5:00 p.m.
While crews were investigating, Highway 145 at mile marker 106 had been restricted to one lane of travel.
Authorities say there is no public safety risk.
