Shooting Outside Infinity Nightclub, Woman in ICU

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- An investigation remains underway and a woman remains in the ICU following a shooting outside Grand Junction's Infinity Nightclub.

It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities say a fight broke out as the nightclub was preparing to close.

A man reportedly took out a gun and shot a 21-year-old woman in the stomach.

She was taken to St. Mary's Hospital and remains in the intensive care unit.

Authorities say they have identified a suspect, but they have not made any arrests.

An investigation remains underway.

I would not want to go to a bar where they have to hire police for security. I also wouldn't go to a bar that has a reputation for thuggy punk violence, so I've never been to Infinity. Hope the young lady recovers soon.
