Shooting Leaves Man Hospitalized

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A shooting in the area of 12th Street and Bookcliff Avenue left one man hospitalized Sunday. It happened around 2:30 a.m.

When police arrived, officers located an adult male who had been shot. The victim was transported to St. Mary's Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening. Officials say the man did have surgery.

The suspect remains at large.
