MESA COUNTY, Colo.- On Monday fire crews responded to a structure fire located in the desert just north of I-70 at mile marker 36.

Officials say a shed caught fire just before 6 a.m. The flames later spread to a car.

Grand Junction and Clifton fire crews responded.

Fire officials worked to put out the flames, which was not easy since access to water was limited.
