Share the Road Campaign Arrives in Grand Junction
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A grass roots movement started by the Colorado Department of Transportation two years ago has now made its way to the Grand Valley. The Share the Road program was created to speak with the public about how people are sharing or not sharing the road in their community, and what improvements need to be made to maximize safety for all users. The local Share the Road Task Force officially launched their campaign on March 8th, and now are trying to spread the word via bumper stickers, banners, yard signs, and billboards. The Task Force will also be present at the Grand Junction Farmers' Market throughout the summer. Local businesses with electronic billboards interested in displaying the Share the Road campaign on their electronic signs can contact local spokesman Dean Bressler at 970-639-2570, or via email at email@example.com.
