Sexually Violent Predator Moves to Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. A sexually violent predator has moved to Grand Junction and the police department wants the public to be aware.

Christopher Stubblefield, 31, has moved into Community Corrections at 650 South Avenue.

Stubblefield was convicted of attempted sex assault on a child and unlawful sexual contact here in Mesa County in 2007.

Notifications have been mailed to neighbors in the area.

Law enforcement encourages anyone wanting more information about sexually violent predators, including Stubblefield, to watch an educational video broadcasting throughout the day. Mesa County Cable Channel 12 will air the 20-minute program Friday at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
