Sentencing for Suspect in Taco Bell Murder Pushed Back

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The sentencing for a man accused of killing another outside the North Avenue Taco Bell last year has been pushed back.

Judge Brian Flynn says due to a glitch in a computer system, a pre-sentence report for Lester Miranda-Davis wasn't filed.

Miranda-Davis had pleaded guilty in September to second degree murder, second degree burglary, menacing with a deadly weapon and robbery.

He was accused of shooting and killing Jorge Alberto who was eating on the patio area outside the Taco Bell in July of 2011.

Miranda-Davis is not expected back in court again on January 18.
