GRAND JUNCTION, Colo- On Friday, Grand Valley seniors attended a senior fair at the the Two Rivers Convention Center.

More than 50 exhibitors were there talking about products and services for the senior population of Western Colorado.

There was also entertainment and door prizes for attendees.

Sen. Steve King, R-Colo., gave the keynote speech, addressing issues that affect senior citizens.

One of the attendees said, "We've only lived here a little over a year. We came here last year and found it very interesting and informative, especially for our senior population, so we came again this year to learn more."

Flue shots were also available from the Mesa County Health Department.

Officials say this was the 12th year for the event.

Good thing they are handing out flue shots. That reminds me, I better check the flu on the fireplace! :>)
