DENVER (AP)- Democrats are already looking ahead to the 2014 elections and are getting Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet involved.

Sen. Michael Bennet will chair the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in hopes of helping Democrats maintain their hold on the U.S. Senate in 2014.

While continuing to serve in the Senate, Bennet will be responsible for raising money and helping draw up a national strategy for Democratic senators.

Colorado's senior senator, Mark Udall is one of 20 Democrats up for re-election in 2014.

Democrats and the two independents who caucus with them currently hold a 55-45 majority in the Senate.

Sen. Bennet? Didn't he vote yet on the unconstitutional job-killing travesty joke known as the Obummercare bill passed by cowardly democrats on Christmas Eve, 2009?
