Senate Reauthorizes Violence Against Women Act

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- An increase in campus safety may be on the horizon, after the US Senate's recent reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act.

Colorado US Senator Michael Bennet co-sponsored the bill.

It includes his "SAFER Act," which would help reduce the national backlog of rape kits and also incorporates the "Campus SaVe Act." This act is a provision that aims to increase safety on college campuses.

he bill now moves to the House of Representatives.

Sen Bennet? Didn't he vote yes on the job-killing travesty known as Obummercare passed by democrat cowards too afraid to debate it in public on Christmas Eve, 2009?
