Senate Intelligence Committee Votes on CIA Director

by KREX News Room
by Jacklyn Thrapp

The Senate Intelligence Committee is expected to vote on the nomination of John Brennan to be the new CIA Director.

If approved, his nomination would move to the full Senate for a vote. Some members of Congress have attempted to delay Brennan's nomination while they sought answers from the Obama Administration about its policies for the use of drones.
Their reasoning--Brennan helped create America's drone policies.

Due to that some members of Congress want to know particularly when the government feels it is OK to attack U.S. citizens overseas.
