GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The third annual seed swap was held Sunday afternoon at the Western Slope Botanical Gardens.

The swap allowed folks to bring in their seeds and switch them for other seeds they found interesting.

Some of the seeds included agape seeds and mustard seeds.

"Everyone who grows seeds has some power to them. It's a powerful thing to be able to plant a garden and grow something of your own," said Marian Dorn, coordinator.

Around 45 to 50 people attended the seed swap.

The seed swap was completely free and was geared for folks looking to start gardening. To find out more information on gardening in the Grand Valley, call (970)-255-0417.
