Second Suspect Arrested for Glen Road Shooting Incident

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Police have arrested a second person in connection to a fight on Glen Road that sent four people to the hospital, one with a gunshot wound.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department, 47-year-old Michael Joseph Renteria Sr. has been arrested.

Officials say he's facing charges involving the attempted murder of Frank Rodriguez, as well as felony assault, burglary and menacing charges.

Renteria's son, Michael Joseph Renteria Jr., was the first suspect arrested in the case, two days after the incident on February 18.

The father and son are suspected of showing up at a home on Glen Road with a third person.

Police say Renteria Sr. is accused of assaulting three people with a bat, while Renteria Jr. shot one victim in the leg.
